Advanced Training:
Our CGC class is geared towards readying your dog to pass the Canine Good Citizen (CGC) evaluation which is offered on the last session of this 6 week course.
Build on the basics and fine tune those crucial skills like sit-stay, wait, and come. Work on improving your dog's behavior during grooming and around distractions. Teach your dog to appropriately greet a person or another dog. In the last session, you and your dog will be tested and if you pass, you will be given the requisite paperwork needed to obtain an AKC certificate showing that your dog is a Canine Good Citizen.

The Advanced Training class is the next level in training for dogs that have had basic obedience training; if you feel that your dog would do well in the advanced class but has not had a formal basic obedience class, the trainer will be happy to schedule an evaluation of your dog to make sure this is the right fit. The class will cover off leash skills, hand signals, and fine tuning, building upon the basic skills your dog already has.
